Schools, Businesses, Municipalities, and Homeowners Associations – Conducted 100's of stormwater inspections on commercial, municipal, residential, and school district properties. Following inspections, prepared technical reports and work with clients to develop a course of action to remedy any issues that are identified. In all stormwater inspections we strive to educate and provide our client with the tools to manage their facility.
Streams of Whatcom County – Conduct source control monitoring to characterize the sources of bacteria and other pollutant contamination on stormwater conveyance systems.
Drayton Harbor Outfall Assessment – Conducted water quality sampling and an outfall inventory on the beaches of Drayton Harbor to determine threats to water quality.
In-Water Construction – Provided turbidity monitoring to ensure water quality is maintained for pile removal and installation.
Multi-parameter Sampling - Completed numerous water quality sampling projects of surface waters and stormwater runoff utilizing automated collectors, data sonde loggers, YSI meters, and grab samples.
Skagit River Tributaries – Conducted anadromous fish passage barrier assessments in tributaries to the Skagit River. Assessed stream habitat to determine a priority index for barrier removal. Interacted with landowners and other agencies.
Western Cascades Streams – Conducted fish passage evaluations on private road stream crossings following the WDFW Fish Passage Inventory, Assessment, and Prioritization Manual. Barrier evaluations are entered into a statewide database to be prioritized for removal or replacement.
Lakes and Reservoirs - We have completed numerous fish population studies in lakes and reservoirs to support hydropower operations. Methods utilized include boat electrofishing, netting, and snorkel surveys.
Streams - Have conducted fish population sampling from small creeks up to fully navigable rivers. We have utilized snorkeling, hook and line, backpack and boat electrofishing, minnow traps, and fyke traps to sample rivers and streams throughout the Pacific Northwest.
In-stream Flow - Our experience in measuring stream flow includes 100's of hours measuring flows in streams throughout the west utilizing doppler and Swoffer equipment.
